firebird3.0-server software package provides Firebird Server - an RDBMS based on InterBase 6.0 code, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firebird3.0-server
firebird3.0-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firebird3.0-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird3.0-server *
You will get with firebird3.0-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
